Heisler is home to Canada's largest baseball glove:
13.5 feet tall and 7.5 feet wide!

Recreation

The Village of Heisler and the surrounding communities provide a wealth of recreational opportunities. Heisler has a four lane bowling alley, ball diamonds and indoor skating rink.

The communities of Daysland and Forestburg, which are only a short 15 minute drive, offer curling, hockey and golf.

Fishing and camping are also only fifteen minutes away at the Big Knife Provincial Park, which is one of the nicest parks in all of Alberta.

Our Community and Seniors centers host a variety of leisure activities and there is sure to be one to suit every need. These facilities are also available to rent for social occasions.

Events
Sausage Supper: The last Sunday in October
Bingo: 3rd Sunday of the month at the Seniors Centre 7:00 pm.
Library hours are on Wednesdays from 9am - 12pm and 1pm - 6 pm

We also have 10 campground sites serviced with water, sewer and power available in the Village.
